my philosophy

Crisp, colorful pictures are not all that difficult to create. Capturing ephermal scenes on a once-in-a-lifetime day is much harder, and I embrace that challenge.

My style of photography is all about creating connections. I include an engagement session with every package primarily because I want to get to know you and understand your relationship. Without those connections, making personal, intimate, and authentic images isn't really possible.

Without connections, there is just the superficiality of the moment. I strive to dig deeper, to create timeless, cinematic pictures that speak the truth about who you are.

To that end, I ask my couples to embrace the adventure of photography, to skip the overdone locations, and to think about what really makes their relationship special.

Then, together we can put construct ideas for adventurous photo sessions that are not only awesomely fun, but result in pictures that are special to you and to you alone.

I will challenge you to make the best possible pictures and I won't settle for less. Up for it?
